Does anybody here know of a place that I can purchase a set of (good quality good fit) OUTER door edge window felts/sweeps or whatever you what to call them.
I have a whole weatherstrip kit for my car and it doesn't come with the outer window felts. I need to get them quick. My vette is nearing it's final steps towards having the new paint job.
Thanks in advance!

I purchased a pair from Willcox, and they did not fit very good, the plugs would not line up. I decided to buy another pair from Zip. Guess what ? Same thing ! Same manufacturer, exact. If you find something that fits, let me know. I have to say though, Willcox asked me if I wanted the good ones or the cheap ones. I went with the cheap ones. Now, what is the good one's ? I told Zip that I wanted the best I could buy. They were 30% more in price, but............ the same thing.

Boatman, thanks for the warning!
Big Fish, I take it that you've had good luck with this outfit. Thanks for the link. I will call them Monday.

Big Fish - Thanks for the Corvette-Rubber reference. I did not think of them. I bought weather strip from them for another car some years ago. Providing C-R has better material, I will have 2 pair of WS to sell.

Sarge (and Boatman) I had very good service and quality from CR. The only thing I got from them I didn't like was the air cleaner to hood seal. It didn't fit (was too big) I wound up cutting it and re-bonding it so it could fit. All other rubber came from them, everything fit about as well as can be expected.

Corvette Central has the best outer fuzzy set. Should look and fit almost perfectly.
I think they run about $65.00 per pair. Most of the repros have the wrong clip and the rubber is too thick. The shop here in town only uses CC fuzzies and swears by them.

I ordered mine from Ecklers and had the same issue. I had to modify them to fit and they still don't work the way they should.

Thanks for the input fella's.
I placed my order with Corvette Central this afternoon. I was looking for something that would fit with minimal modification. I will let everyone know how they fit.
