Hi Friends,

I have an 81 T-Top. The outside driver rearview mirror fell off. The glass and plastic bracket holding it are fine. The electric motor works.

But I cannot find anyone who can reattach the mirror to the electric motor. Looks like a couple of screws are missing on the mirror support.

Any suggestions on sourcing the missing screws?

   Thanks,

     Tex

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Am I not understanding something.  My 82 drivers side mirror glass came off and it was a little "X" fastener that let the mirror motor push the mirror around.  I do not remember any screws.  The mirror just snapped onto this "X" fastener.

In fact I have a second one that I decided not to pop the other one off and replace it.   Do not remember where I got the fastener or what it cost but it was not much if someone wants it send me a PM with address and I will put it in the mail.
