Okay I need to know something for sure, not just a I think answer

I need to know if the 78 Pace Car came with a black fuel bezel or a chrome bezel.  I have both and want the correct one on there.  It came with the chrome bezel on there but I don't think its original.  So, does anyone know for sure?

Thanks Joel, I was thinking painting but someone who has a PC said it should be chrome and I don't think its right.

Just to add a little. Up through 77 they used the chrome. 78-82 used black. They must have found a case of chrome ones to use up on the Pace Cars.
