Ben I can sympathize! I'm pretty much broke too! I'm a little further along, but close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. If some wonderful person would buy my Harley, I'll have the cash to finish my girl!

Looking very good Ben. Love seeing other peoples work. Makes me wish I had the room to have done the body off thing. Maybe the next time when it comes I will be living in a house with enough room to do it like you are doing. I am sure it will consume all the money I can muster.

Great work Ben. Just finished all of that kind of stuff a while back, so I can appreciate how much work you have accomplished...and how much you need to do yet.

The big stuff is expected, but all of those little, itty bitty things drive you nuts. The part vendors will drain you dry on all of the pieces that connect everything together and make the job look nice.

"While I'm in there" and "should do this too" is where all the expense seems to eat you alive. If you tell someone how much you spent on grommets, clips etc, they'll think you're crazy.

Lookin' good, keep up the good work!

Ben, what you have done so far is possitively outstanding. I would be overwhelmed and overjoyed to tackle a project like that. But I will never have the time nor the expertise to do something like that alone.

Keep us posted and keep on Truckin' Dude.

Looks fantastic so far,Ben.You are doing great, and speaking for myself ,the stuff you and the other guys do keep me inspired on my project vette too.Sometimes I get a little discouraged looking at all the pieces and parts lying all around and its good to know you guys(and gals) are out there "feeling my pain".

                Keep up the good work,Jules
There is the update I was looking for. Keep up the good work Ben. Dave, how about some pics off your hard work?
I had some pics posted, but got fussed at for them being too big. I got the webspace on RoadRunner, but couldn't figure out how to load pictures to it.

Let me see what I have for previous shots, I'll try to put some up.

Vette(s): I own a 1974 L48 white/red automatic, a 1976 daily driver L82 4 speed and a 1979 L48 automatic.

Lookin good,
I'm in the same process with my 74. I'm just waiting for the parts to come in so I can finish the frame. They were supposed to come in this week but no show.
Guess I'll have to have a couple of cold ones and just look at it in the garage.
I haven't got room on my server to post anymore pictures of the what it currently looks like but you can see what the frame looked like after I pulled the body off.
