Topic: Paint Code 28?
in Forum: C3 Body
Can anyone verify that Paint Code 28, Dark Blue, for a 1977 color, is a non-metallic paint? That's what the body shop tells me!! They will be painting in the morning, so I have only a few hours to confirm!
Looking for a 2nd opinion!!
Thanks,
Mel

Thanks to all!!!! I looked it up in the Black Book and it is not specified as a metallic paint. I feel better hearing it from all of you though!!
I will stop by to look at the color actualy on the car tomorrow. I have been looking at grey primer for the past 4 years....can't wait to see it all one color and highly polished!!

They got the doors and underside of the hood painted today or trimmed out, as they say. They got pulled off to paint some 1/4 million dollar RV!!
At 3:30PM local today, it and all its parts are still in the paint booth! The owner assures me it will be painted in the morning and I can drive it home Friday. Then the pressure begins to get her road worthy by next week. I'm a bit nervous about the trip, I don't have 2 tanks of gas through the rebuilt motor yet
! Was hoping to have a couple short trips in by now as a confidence builder. Oh well, if I break down at least I'll have plenty of help

I can edit(resize) them, and send them back, so you can post them, too. I'm sure the main reason you're having a problem is the size of the pics. (500kb max for uploads to your personal file.)
