Hello i have a 1981 corvette on the door  jam have these numbers  B06C     100223 641  50L  50U   74ME car is  a two tone beige with brown running along the bottom is this the orginal colors? Can anyone please tell me were i can find the paint code in these numbers and what the colors are for the paint codes any help appreciated.                                     Sincerly  PATRICK

Scroll up & click on the "Research" bar & choose C3 Statistics. 
 
Click on your year (1981) to see the paint codes for the year.
 
Your car's paint codes are 50/74 which translates to a car assembled & painted in Bowling Green in your colors (Beige/Dark Bronze).

The 81 gurus can chime in here, but I think your numbers break down as:
 
B  Bowling Green
06  sixth month of production
C  third week of that month
 
100223  VIN derivitive
 
641  Camel leather interior  might also be 64L
 
50L 50U  Beige exterior paint on the upper and lower halves of the car.   74 is the correct code for dark bronze.  I can't explain why the tag does not show 74L.
