Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.

Looking at the post requesting information on a person to paint his vette brings us a point should be addressed.
Would anyone be interested in developing a registry or list of people/businesses that have painted their vette. Or a vette they have first hand knowledge of and are able to provide picture of.
I’m thinking what type of paint job did they went after
would be a consideration Daily Driver or Show. The general or a
actual location the shop is
located and price ranges (i.e. 2K-2.5K; 2.5K-3K; 3k-4k; 4k-5K; above 5k.
etc). If you guys are interested I will compile a listing and then we can
figure out how to post it something.
This post is just to see if there is an interest.

I think it is an excellent idea. It would be great to list by state and city. There is a similar registry here already for mechanics. In Charleston, SC, Jamisons Corvettes is the gold standard. They are not cheap, nor should they be. They are the best I have ever seen. They are a family owned business that have been around since the 60's.

I am interested in the topic as I am currently researching or fact finding for reasonable sources for a good driver/ slightly show quality paint job. Have had quotes from 8K to 16K. Looking for a good job but I don't want to be afraid to drive the car as I would be if spending 16K for a paint job on a car that I bought for 8K two years ago........ We won't go into what has been spent on the rest of it since then but the next project is definitely a reasonable paint job.
I think your listing or registry would be right on target
