here is a link that has the pics sorted in a little better order, you should be able to use the slide show as well in upper right hand corner. I have more to add on Monday then I will be adding until the paint is complete hopefully next weekend! Still havent figured out how to make the link active without copy and pasting. Sorry.

Just got it painted this weekend. I added pics at the end of the album with the car just been pushed out of the Paint booth. The color is called Tangerine / Go Mango. Its a flop color depending on how the light hits it. It will look alot better I hope once the chrome and Cragars go on. Will have to wait a few weeks to let the paint dry so I dont scratch it. I get to bring it home later this week after the 3000 wet sand and buff. I'm excited to move on to the next task to get it completed.

Rodney---Great color selection!!
I think you will have a real show stopper.

I have gone through your album several times looking for details as I'm doing the exact same thing to my 72 coupe. However, color is NOT an issue. Has to be the origional #979 Targa Blue. I took mine to the paint shop two weeks ago, so I'm not as far along. When I get some pics I will start a new thread and try and post before, during and after. You have done a great job with the pictures and descriptions.
I have a few questions, if you don't mind.
How did you/Jon paint the egg crate side vents? Did you mask the edges and front to leave exposed bright metal or did you paint the whole thing and use a razor blade to expose the bright work?
Did you have much rust on the bird cage and windshield frame? Mine has some but we have not taken the trim off yet.
Did you look for the tank sticker? I'm planning on dropping the tank as long as it's in pieces.
Are you painting the rally wheels?
It looks like you have a great project going and I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Vette(s): 1972 conv, 4-speed, 350, 200hp, numbers match, rally wheels, war bonnett yellow w/white top. good condition, nice driver.
I THINK, that 72 and Ontario Orange was a fire mist color. Only available in 71 and 72. It is a deep pretty color. The tangerine is nice as well. Congrats.
Yep show stopper for sure, if you have any of that paint left it would be a perfect compliment color for Manchesters hard top
