Hey, Soda blasting is the way to go. It work great and it was cheap. It does not damage the fiberglass and it gets all the paint off.

I've heard that Soda blasting is the way to go, but what kind of equipment/tools do you need to do that? Where do you get the soda, etc.?    Is there another thread for this I could refer to?

Thanks if someone has a chance or remembers thread with a good explaination.

Hey Mick. Funny I just dropped an P.M. to ya and here you are again. Call a sandblasting co. and ask how much to do the job. I got a quote of only $300.00

WOW, not a bad price at all!! I'll call around here. I've been thinking about getting a paint job. Got some nicks from rocks here and there. The second paint job has 10 years on it and some of that is pealing off on the T-Tops showing the original same color coat. Couple of strees markes around the hood on both sides. Got to try to do it myself or save the $$ to have it done.......$3,000 to $5,000 for a good one?? I can't find any place that will even try to match the color for some touch-up paint. That would help till I can get it painted.

Thanks again for the info!!

That color, especially with 10 years on it will be difficult to match. For touch-up, I'd suggest taking the gas lid door to a paint supplier and get them to match that.

The original color is what you see..."Riverside Gold" & black interior. It looks like that "Grey Poupon Mustard" color. You don't see that color that much. Someone told me that color fades fast. I believe most people repaint their's with that color, but it's kinda grown on me. Trying to keep her as original as I can.
Are you going to repaint yours Warbonnet Yellow or keep the Black? What's the interior color?
