Vette(s): 1979 L-82, 3 spd auto, car was originally Lt. Beige currently painted Sportsman Red, Doeskin leather interior, 103,000 miles......
I had my vette stripped (after market paint and the original paint) and repainted for $ 3000.00 by a friend of mine, and that was a steal. I've seen paint jobs as much as $ 10,000 including bead blasting and paint. Buyer beware...you often get what you pay for......

Its good to know somebody..... |thumb|

here $3,000 would be minimum , better jobs would be $5,000 to $10,000. That is what is keeping us from repainting right away too. Ian has some front bumper scrapes and bubbling on the hood on it's current repaint job. He was orginally red but we really like the maroon |cheers|

I can not believe that you all have to pay $5000-$10000
for a good paint job? That is all going into there pockets it shouldnt cost you more than $500 for all your suplies but I understand that not everyone has the acces to a paint booth I just cant fathom more than $2000 for a paint job. |rollysmile|

I'd be afraid to drive a car with a $10,000 paint job. I would think that kind of money would be for a trailer queen or museum piece, not a driver.

Hey Johnny...any updates with that BB Laguna Grey '70 convertible? |toungecool|
