Just out of curiousity--does anyone know if a passanger side mirror was a factory option in 1970? My car has one, which I think gives the car a bit of balanced uniformity cosmetically speaking. I have looked in all my corvette books as well as on line under corvette specs and it is not mentioned. Anyone know???? Thanks in advance.

At that point passenger side mirrors were dealer installed options. There was no RPO for that listed in any literature I've seen.

I figured that it was a dealer option, thanks for the input. Enjoy your summer

It's definitely a "dealer installed option". There's no RPO that I have ever found. But ... I put one on my '70, mostly for side vision but it looks more "balanced" also - as you said earlier.

I put one one my '71 not only for the 'balanced look', but more importantly, being able to see in that huge blind spot!
I know the voices aren't real, but they have some pretty cool ideas...
