Good to see that GM improved the design by 1982! :D The early heads were a simple ball and socket design with an interference fit. After 30 some-odd years they get loose and droopy. |eek|

I have tried taking the mirrors off and tightening them, but it still dont stay. I will try the notching on the ball and hope it works. I havent seen the chrome bullet mirrors anywhere.

My mistake. On my 82 the bullet mirrors are caled sport mirrors.
