Yes you can. I have seen this on a 73 T-top. It is expensive though as there are quit a few little peices that you will need to come up with. I think I heard that it was close to $1k in parts.

Sounds like a great deal! Where did you find it? I would like to do this to my 73.

I was just getting ready to post a thread asking when was the last year of the removable rear window. Would this have been in 72? I have a 75 and am very much interested in having this removal window option. Seems that it would cause a air flow somewhat like a convertible or more like a convertible. If you could send information on where you purchased this kit I would really appreciate it.
Thanks,,,,,

Thanks,,,,,

According to the Corvette Black Book by MIke Antonick 1972 was the last year for the pop out rear window (unique to cars from '68-'72).
To qoute from the book: Speaking to Car&Driver magazine, Zora Arkus-Duntov stated removal of the rear window created too much interior buffeting and that this, not cost savings, was the reason for a fixed window in 1973. Ok Zora, we believe you (wink, wink, nod, nod...!!!).

Its been so long since I have had my back window it, I'm not sure that I can even find it. I love it, and anyone that does not have it and can install it for 300 bucks its well worth it. I also do not have a tray, I believe it was one of those things that quicly found its way out of the rear for more room. I might be interested in purchasing one if someone know where to look, I have checked the normal suppliers and if I recall its not available.
