OK so I'm futzing around and doing things that don't "need" to get done because I'm sick of working on the more important stuff...you probably can't relate
. PO had a mishap with the car and the nose (pass door and quarter, driver door) needs some repaint. It's down to the urethane. Any special instructions on a quick repaint? The whole car needs paint, it's miserable, but I'm just looking to hide the REALLY bad stuff until I get the car repainted. I don't think the last "artist" did any prep work on his paint job.

You could do what i see a lot of these kids do today…get a bunch of cans of Plasti-Dip and spray your whole car. Then when your ready for a real paint job just peel the stuff right off.

Hey Sarge, I just bought 3 cases of the stuff! I'll be over this weekend and you can show me how it's done!!

If yer just trying to get some color back on the bumper cover, just get some bumper cover paint.....they do make it in spray cans. Your car is white, so it shouldn't be too hard to find a white that matches fairly close. Scuff the cover up a little with some steel wool, clean it really well, and spray on, Garth!

Apparently, you are unfamiliar with the scuffing my car has already taken! I would also like to thank all who did not make any schnoz jokes!
Like: Talk about your big projects!
First, get a 2x4 to hold it up.
I don't think they make that much prep material.
Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to repaint everything else to match?

Bubba says get some vinyl body wrap material, cut it up and do your own design. Or use colored duct tape and go crazzzzy.
Just some humor.

Breathe, Dave....breathe....

(hey...you started it...)
Without actually seeing how "bad" your cover is, it's hard to say how best to improve the looks of it, other than a complete re-shoot of color on it.....got any pics?
