I found a pair of smalll round rubber gaskets when removing my interior that I didnt know what it was. As i"m looking thru vendors for parts I see they are the rear vent gaskets. I checked my rear vents out and I see I have to replace the rubbers inside the vents because they are rotted away or mice have chewed on them! I havent found them on any vendor sites yet. Anyone know where I could locate them and the hose for drains as well. Also , and I hate to ask this but does the gas tank have to come down to get to them to replace them. Thats my initial guess and if so I hope the build sheet is there! Doubt if I'll get that lucky. I am going to have lots of body questions over the next 2 weeks so I thank everyone in advance for the help you send my way. Is there anything else I should look for in the back while the tank probaly has to come out other then the gas hoses.

Just the fuel lines and the wire for the sender on top, and the exhaust and spare tire bunk from the bottom. Of course you'll want to siphon off the fuel 1st. It's not a difficult operation once you've been there and back, but the 1st time in seems harder.

If you are asking about the drain tubes at the bottom of the  astro Vent Box behind the rear window then they can be changed from inside the car. Look on both sides of the vent box and you will find them attached to the bottom and run out into the wheel wells just above the rear tires. There are two washer like pieces that are rivited on to hold them in place on the wheel well walls.  The tubes connect to the vent box with a hose clamp.

I got mine from a local Vette parts place when I first bought my 73.
