As I am still considering side pipes I was wondering how many of the members here with side pipes that werent factory setups have changed the rear valance panel or have you left the original panel for rear exhaust on the car. If I go with side pipes I dont think I would go to the expense of changing the rear panel. what are your thoughts?

I kept the panel with cut-outs and inserted KC backup lights there that I wired into the back-up light harness.  Changed the stop/tail lights to four across so this way I still have BU lights.  Doesn't look bad at all.

There is a replacement rear filler panel that is for a side exhaust conversion.  It fills in the space for the exhaust.  It is a simple bolt in.  It cost just over $200.00.

I installed and painted the rear filler panel.  It just completes the installation and gives the rear end a cleaner look.Thumbs Up  As Larry suggested, it's not that expensive but you would have to paint it.

I know this is off topic, but how is the paint coming, Dean?

Hey Barry.....Thanks for asking.

At the risk of getting my knuckles rapped with a ruler, Gordy is finishing up repairing the seams and the new fender is on.  He is going to the NCRS Regional meet in FL next week but when he gets back he should be ready to lay down some color.Smile  I'll try and post a few more fotos.  I enjoy following your project.Thumbs Up
