Pulled from the swamps of Miami!
Its a driver and back on the road!
Recently painted my car and the chrome trim was removed and all the clips what was left of them removed..So now I remove the window to insert the new clips or if you have a way to insert them without messing the glass I would appreciate the info???
trying to figure out how to send a private message.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Almost all back together again!

WellI have had no luck installing new clips with the window in so I called around for someone to remove the window and let me install the clips so they will work.... No one wants to touch it they say the window will probably shatter removing it and they were unable to get me a price on a new rear window??? so still open to suggestions and I really don't want to remove the good rear window???

I realize this is an older thread..Hopefully you have solved the problem.
IF NOT:
A COMPETENT glass man should be able to remove the window glass, clean it and the body, install the 21 plastic new trim clips, re-install and seal the rear window and THEN attach the rear window surround molding-trim..
You simply must find a glass installer who has the experience and know how to tend to the issue..
Good luck, JIM

Yes finding the one is not easy. Talked to one the other day and still concern of breaking the glass and where are you going to get a new one and $$$$$$. So I will try one more thing and if not then its pull the glass! I don't want to bugger up the new paint anymore dealing with a simple light weight piece of chrome trim. I got the windows in and trying to line them up is a real treat???????
Thanks for all the info again.
