While I already have the interior out, and door panels off. I am going to go ahead and replace the worn weather strips. I bought a complete set from Wilcox, and they came without any diagrams or instructions. Does anyone have any tips, or refer me to any articles on removing the old weatherstrips and replacing them??
I would really appreciate it.

GET SOME 3M WEATHER STRIP REMOVER. REMOVES THE GLUE.
YOU MAY HAVE TO SCRAPE SOME OF IT. USE A DULL PIECE OF PLASTIC AS NOT TO HARM THE PAINT.

Dry fit them first-especially the door strips, mainly to see if the plastic nibs, and the holes line up. On my 77, I had to drill a couple of extra holes in the t-tops, not something you want to do when your adhesive is tacking up on you. Speaking of adhesive...USE THE 3M BLACK WEATHERSTRIP ADHESIVE...NOT THE YELLOW!!!!!
You'll thank yourself for using the black. it hides the usual "OOPS" associated with this job. There's nothing uglier on fresh weatherstrip than yellow goo oozing out behind it.
Have plenty of masking tape on hand. After you put the BLACK adhesive on, you don't want the weatherstrip swinging about, just stick a piece of tape to the strip, and stick the tape loosely, somewhere close to where you're going to stick it.
