Anyone replaced their urethane bumper? Which will fit and look the best? Alignment and bolt holes lining up ?

Flexi-Fit or Tru-Flex for the front bumper was recommended to me by the guy that's repainting my car. This guy has done many Corvette's and has his own custom vette. He say's that there is more work involved with fitting a fiberglass bumper versus urethane or the Tru-Flex. The rear bumper on the other hand, you can use the fiberglass bumper, I guess they must line up pretty good without doing a lot of work to fit'em. Here's his web site for anyone in the WNY area looking for a paint shop. And anyone who wants to see his vette doing a nice burn out. |biggrin|

Thanks Sarge. Looks like I am going to salvage the original bumper. You may find this hard to believe, but after using the urethane stripper, and urethane softening up a bit, the molecular structure of the bumper mostly returned to original shape. It was not that wavy, but after 24 hours, it came in. I will watch it for a while, as I am in south Florida, and right now it is only 81 out. Thanks for info. |saluteflag| |cool| |cool|
