Vette(s): 75 coupe being restored. engine rebuilt & complete interior resto with interior color change. more when i get it together. i am not going original as over my head, too expensive and i'd rather drive than tinker. thats to frustrating for me.
I PLAN ON DOING SOME WORK TO MY 75 AND I WAS WONDERING IF I WILL CAUSE ANY PROBLEMS/DAMAGE IF I LEAVE THE CAR ON JACKSTANDS FOR 2 WEEKS OR MORE? THE TIRES WILL BE OFF AS I WANT TO POLISH THE ALUMINUM RIMS. WHILE ON THAT SUBJECT WHATS THE BEST METHOD, EQUIPMENT AND TYPE OF POLISH TO USE? I APPRECIATE ANY INPUT/INFO. THANKS |headscratch|

Vette(s): 1972 convertible 350 auto trans, delux int, air, ps, pb, t/t wheel, pw, 79,000 org miles Rare one year only color
i don't see any problem leaving it on stands. as for the wax, look in the car care forum. post your question there. i'm sure you'll start up a debate about that's the best.
