rubber shields and wedges

Can someone chime in that has replaced the rubber shields and wedges . I understand where the #2 wedge goes but I do not really follow the other two and what is their purpose. to know exactly what I am talking about look for part numbers zm 2567,zm 2569 and zn 2568 from zip corvette.

Yes it does and it is clear as mud.  I think I got it figured where the front one goes, I can see why they are never still there, but sure can't tell where exactly to put the back one
