That is an '81 hood, and the feller cut out the entire middle to put on an L-88 scoop, instead of just enough to clear the air cleaner assy.

I tried to find a spec sheet on the hood, to get the hole measurement, but so far I haven't had any luck on that. Might just have to eyeball it....

Joann,
Did you decide on a short scoop or long scoop. Just curious. By the way, I have no talent with fiberglass but I would imagine if you take it slow and do your homework, it will look great.
