When replacing the side mirror gasket, can it be done without removing the interior door panel?  Thanks.

there should be an allen screw on the lower outside of the mirror.  By unscrewing this, it should remove the mirror from the base allowing you to access the old gasket and replace it with a new one.

Take the allen headed screw out, then pull the mirror off. You'll find two "phillips" head screws holding the mirror base to the door. Take these screws out, and the base and gasket will come off.

If you are doing anything like this for judging purposes(NCRS/Bloomington), for your information, the replacement gaskets are larger than original, and they stick out around the mirror base more than the originals do. A decent judge will notice this, so be aware of it.
