Hey all soft top people and all that may know how..I have a gap issue on the top of the windshield that is driving me nuts. I have pulled on the top with everything loose but am not sure which way is the correct way to have the top adusted to..I took pictures of it to show both sides..I cannot get the drivers side any further foward..the passenger side almost goes all the way flush to the chrome trim on top of the window. I have all 6 bolts that relate to the top loose now but am just looking for the correct position. BTW it does leak a little on both edges and at the mirror so that is what prompted me to put this at the top of the list now. I do need a new gasket up there and have ordered new alignment bushings for the pins.

Sorry I can't be of much help. I had a shop to the replacement 6 years ago so don't know how they did the adjusting. If you have an A.I.M. there might be some specs/measurements/directions in there for how the factory kids were supposed to install and adjust them.
I guess I should be a little more specific..I just need to know where the top should be?I can move it all over but not sure how far foward it should be..flush to the glass or back a little?? maybe I can find some factory specs on it or old pics..
Thanks
Rich

I just went out and looked at mine. It appears to be flush with the strip that goes across the top of the windshield that connects to the pillars. I'll try to get some pics if you think that will help.

From your picture, I would say you have it about 3/8" too far back. The alignment pegs should put it in the correct position.
