Standard vs. Latex Weatherstrip

Good afternoon All,
I was wondering if there was anyone out there that has had any experience with the "latex" tpye weatherstrip, along with any "pros/cons"?

I know that latex is more pliable than rubber. I also believe that it seals better and lasts longer.

With the softer latex the door fitting/seal is better.

I used the Latex on my 82 and 95 vettes.  seems to work well however the latex did not stick to the glue on the 45 degree corners of the 82's rear hatch.  I got mine from Wilcox.
