Well, after some labor and rekindling of my bondo skills, we went from this:

To This:
I used Vette Panel Adhesive as a filler to level the bumper with the quarter panels. This stuff is fantastic!!!
Anyway, body is back together and the 406 is going in next weekend. Also adding my L88 hood!!
Back on the road again!!

Well, enjoy the rest of your Memorial Day Weekend folks. Don't forget to say a prayer for the troops.
Paul
ps - I have NOTHING good to say about Willcox Corvette from here on in!!

looks great paul. glad to hear you are getting the motor back in. it would have been better if wilcox explained that the fit may not be perfect so you knew what you were getting into. guess they figured they were the middle man and would not be there fault. they should do like mike said midamerica is doing and put up the disclaimer.

LOL thats cheatin Paul.... your spoiler took all of the cussin / fun out of trying to match those corner lines.
Bottom line is that it doesn't really make a difference if it is tru flex / OEM / or fiberglass. They are chunked out of a mold one after another. It is next to a miracle to receive a bolt on w / out doing some work.
I like the spoiler look so I think you did the right thing.

BTW, if anyone needs the support hardware for a urethane bumper, I have all the little rubber bumper brackets, tail light supports, etc. FREE if you can use them before I toss them.
Also, one free 29 year old urethane bumper top anyone who wants it!!

I hung my ratty ol OEM bumper up with the light housings in it in the garage. Even with the battle scars it looked pretty good.

That looks sweet, those spoilers are the best! Is the spoiler fiberglass also?? I was wondering about that.

Hey Jason, I'll give ya five bucks if ya just tell me ya want it

Spoiler is an original urethane job. A little waviness - that I can deal with...
Thanks for the positive comments all!!
