Vette(s): 1978 Corvette Light Blue Pulled from the swamps of Miami! Its a driver and back on the road!

Ok sorry for all the post but I think it's really going to happen! I am going to get my Vette painted after thinking it was to be done in March 2014???

I need to get the chrome trim  off the T-Tops and I have the side ling piece off. But I'm not sure how to remove the curved piece that bends around up to the front without scratching the inside lid or damaging the chrome piece?  And then what is the trick to get it back on without bending or scratching the interior  side?

Any help again would be greatly appreciated.  Have the car all stripped down but this and its been sitting in the garage all summer, and finally its getting the paint job I thought I had lined up this spring.  It will take me all winter to get everything back together if I can remember. I want to take one more spin before painting but now I think it needs an inspection?????? It's always something, don't know if I want to take it to a garage for inspection with a new paint job on her?

Ok I will wait for the help and then I'm ready for the paint!

Thanks again, BB78

Hey Ray I followed that video and it went along pretty easily.  I did chip some of the fiberglass but not so that it shows or affects the reinstall...
