Lat evening I set out to try and better align my t-top panels... the last owner replaced the pads and weatherstrips and put it togeter like... well like a newbie (like Me i suppose)
hehe
another related question:
Where can I get the post 77 t-top latch system... and will it fit? Is it better?
What can I expect to pay ;)
thanks guys.
BTW after looking at a few c4's I think I'm keeping my 77'.
maybe a "yearone.com" crate for it.  I saw a special in hotrod magazine. 3k for 400 hp....

I'm actually waiting for someone to answer this one myself...I'm totally out of ideas on one of mine and the Assembly manual is pretty vague.

I've tried pulling the spacers out of mine and that helped a little.  They are no the t-post side of the tops.  Also, adjusting the windows will help a great deal.  There is an article on this in the Corvette Enthusiast magazine I just got.  I don't remember if it is the Dec or Jan issue.

I would check the usual suspects.  They are $60 at Bairs plus you get a discount.  I would bounce that against Mid America, Corvette Central and others for a price sanity check.

I have replaced the seals and will try to re-align the windows as soon as the insurance company fixes the front end from the wrecker driver.  Let me know if you have any luck!

Kind of interesting, the little triangle piece of metal on the b pillar does not insert into it's counter-part. There is not enough room for it (the receiving triangle) to slide over the part on the  b-pillar... is this ... understanable? Anyway can I make that reat triangle thingy come out a bit?I tried to remove the 2 screw on the bracket but it's still fastened by another force.. and my haynes manual does not even cover t-tops... only verts ;(
Time for another beer.....
