Topic: Unknown Accessory??
in Forum: C3 Body

I have four what look like plug-in connectors on the back of
my 1982 C3 CE. If I did this correctly
you will see the pictures by clicking on the below links.
I colored
them red so you could see it a little easier.
My question is what are they for.
I’m thinking a luggage rack but not sure because it would have to be removed to open the glass hatch. If it is a luggage rack does anyone have a
picture of one or even have one they would like to sell.
This C3 has only 44K miles on it. The original owner had it for 3 years and put 9K miles on it. So I’m sure it was a factory or dealers options but what it is I have know idea for sure.

RPO V54 Roof Panel Carrier $144.00 originally 1994 built with the option.
I've never seen one for sale !

I used it all the way from OKC to the museum and back. They vibrate slightly over 75, but I use them all the time.
