Tomorrows weather here in Dutchess County, N.Y. is supposed to be in the low 50's and cloudy.
If everything works out, I was thinking of waxing my Corvette.
I'd think the lack of direct sunlight would be a plus, but is it too cold to apply wax?

most of the waxes say to do it in a cool spot out of direct sunlight. i dont think 50's would be too cold. a friend of mine waxes his cars all year round in his garage.

Brrrrrrr ! That's too cold for me Kevin. My fingers don't work below 65. I guess it's a left coaster thing

Thanks for the feedback!
I went ahead and used the McGuire's Cleaner Wax. It's good for a start and cleans those high spots on the fenders where the winter car cover leaves its mark.
After a short drive I gave it a once over with the California Duster I got for X-Mas. Not too bad.
The Clay Bar and new coat of wax will have to wait.

P.S. Hey Ace,
from where I'm sittin', 65 degrees is a hot day!

Finally we're getting a few warm days. Couldn't seem to get warm just yesterday with a high of about 40. Nice today and for next few days with temps in the 60s and maybe even 70.
I polished the wheels this afternoon. Maybe I'll get to try some new polish tomorrow. Bought one called Pink Wax. Think it's the old Liquid Lustre wax that I've been told makes black really pop.
Got to get ready for indoor mall show next weekend in Columbus (IN).
