After replacing my door and T-top weather strips, I ended up spending considerable time adjusting the windows. |hammer| |cussing| After I was finished, up and down worked fine, no leaks and life is good! |bouncy|

Hey Tom. They sent me another bumper. I trial fitted it after drilling the mounting holes, expecting it to fit. It would not fit at all. All Corvette's are different. I called them up, and by then I had the wrinkled bumper and the exchange piece. I was supposed to send the wrinkled one back. I decided to keep it because it fit very good, and send the other back. I think they got upset, because I got an e mail complaining of all the postage this has cost them. I had it painted, mounted it and after torquing down, it wrinkled like a washboard, just on one side.
I have written the manuf. asking what to do, and they will not answer my e mail, and the distributor I purchased it from, will not answer me either, after dropping a load of dough on them. I will not mention their names on this board. Same old story sometime, they get your dough and let you go. Once you start to complain, they just go away. I am going to have a pro fix it while it is on the car.
I had a problem with pre-covered leather/vinyl seats on new foam. The backs and the seat cushions seams were off from matching top to bottom, almost an inch on each side. The manufacturer made me a complete new set, perfect, and followed up with a phone call and letter.
That was Corvette America, and they bent over backwards to satisfy. This was a long answer to your question. |saluteflag| |cool|

I replaced all of the weatherstrip in my CE a couple of years ago and used Corvette Rubber. Everything is working perfectly. I recommend them highly. |wink|

Yes it is. The most important thing about replacing it is to make sure you get a good adhesive remover. That makes the job go a heck of a lot easier. Saved me about 2-3 hours easy!!!

Thanks for the update. I am replacing the new weatherstrip I got from a discounter. I will call Corvette Rubber when I get back to home base next week. Anyone buying weatherstrip, I only have one thing to say: You get what you pay for, and nothing else. So I can not get the top of weatherstripping to fit door properly, the rubber mount that goes on front of door is not deep enough to sit down properly and does not come close to screw holes. I ordered supposedly guaranteed to fit kit oh couple of years ago would have to look up manufacturer, but I do know it is made in usa, made sure of that not imported stuff, so don't know what t o do. If i order new door seals from corvette rubber am I going to have same problem

Can you get a pic of the weatherstrip where it's supposed to fit that location?
