Often I hear vette members talking about a stinger hood. I guess I am curious as to which one this refers to. I bought another hood that sometime in the future I plan to put on the car. I know which one i like but I usually see them on the 67's. So I was wondering who might have a picture of a stinger hood.
For that matter lets see any picture of a vette hood with a scoop of any type.
Thanks,
Rodney

Stinger hoods were originally for '67 Vette big block cars, but now they're made for other generations as well. The stinger stripes is what gives it the name.

If mine wasn't already painted, I'd get one of those hoods!

Thats the hood I am looking for, so the question is can I buy just the scoop or do I have to find a hood with the scoop made on it. If I can buy the scoop where do I get one?
