Vette(s): 1970 T-Top350/350hp numbers matching 4 speed. It's a mess and 1970 Convertible 4 speed.
Right now I have the front suspension, engine and tyranny out of the car. My plane was to redo all it and do the body last. This car has so many issues I was wondering if it would be better to put the front suspension back to gather and just tow it to the body shop and let them have it. I would hate to have it all clean then have it sit in the body shop with the dust. This car needs a new front clip and I did fine a shop that does nothing but old vettes. I need some advice.

Hey Dave, What happened. We missed ya at the gathering.... If you haven't done it before, I think you'd be much happier letting some one of experience set that front clip. There is a lot more to it if everything doesn't fall right into place, and it almost never does. I would say, finish the reconstruction of your suspension to aid in transport, but I'm no expert......Metal bumper coupe, sounds like a worthy cause Thumbs%20Up. Good luck.aceinthehole2007-06-27 17:54:17

Hey yes I wanted to go BADLY but a thing called life ( wife and kids) raised its ugly head. It was one of those few times the wife gave me the look. The look that said if you go there will be hell to pay.

About the front end I have no intention of doing that my self. I found a body shop in Rancho Cordova that does nothing but vettes.
So I was thinking instead of doing the drive train next I would take to them and have it done. It might be easer for them to do it that way and my engine will not get dirty.

I just got mine back for the painters.  I've got about a week of cleaning under the hood to do.  He tried to keep everything covered but....

Can't wait to get started though.  She's been gone since the first of Feb this year.
