I was thinking of replacing my windshield (wiper scratches ) andwondered what every paid to replace theirs.  I don't think anything will fix these scratches.
Question on 'hers' '92 windsheild.   No scratches but has a lot of water spots, dirt build up besides it's hard to see both inside and outside.   Will these come out if use polish?   Thanks.
What you have is acid rain spots. Those a etched into the glass and NOTHING will get them out.Everytime I buy a new auto I keep every piece of glass rain-xed even the outside morriors.I do it about every three or 4 mos.My wifes 2001 Grand Cherokee doesn't have any spots and it's kept outside.Nothing looks worse than dark tinted windows with acid rain spots on it.Sorry to say it but you are probably going to have to pop for some more new glass.and don't gorget the RAIN-X!!!!Yes I'm ANYL about water spots so beleive me if theres something out there that will remove that stuff I haven't heard about it.All those creams and polishes work on the small stuff but once it's ecthed it over.Ouch
