Having wiper door issues. Tested with a hand held vacuum test pump and proved the side of the wiper door actuator that "opens" the door loses vacuum very quickly. I suspect the seal on that side of the actuator is faulty. I've seen replacement seal for sale at several on-line places (see below)
Has anyone ever replaced one of these seals? If so, is it easy to do and also what have been your results?

It is very easy to do. Just about all the Corvette places sell these. Your probably looking at a twenty min job maybe. It's a while your at it thing...but might as well replace the rubber on the other side and a new boot to make it look good. It should fix your problem.
Lonnie, thanks for the reply. I'll get mine on order. Great idea to replace the other rubber pieces also while I'm at it
.

By the way, that is one fabulous looking '72 you have there
! Looks like Yukon, Ok is up by OKC. Maybe I'll get to see it someday as we are practically neighbors.

Thanks, Maybe we can get Joel and some others to have another Texas, Oklahoma and surrounding area get together again. Last year it was in Ardmore I think. I had to cancel on short notice last year and missed it, and yes Yukon is just on the west side of OKC.
Yea, that is a great idea. I'll have to wait until I get some work done underneath, i.e., bushings, trailings arms, etc. I don't trust mine very far out of town like it is.
