Vette(s): 1969 Corvette Stingray Convertible. Just bought it from my uncle who owned it since 1971. Fathom green, green interior. 350/300, T400.

My wiper door worked intermittingly until today. I'd have to wiggle the switch alot to make it work. I bought a new switch at Bloomington Gold and installed it today. Now the wipers work grest, but the door won't close. Bad switch, or other issues?

Thanks,

Matt

Matt, you may have a problem with the wiper door safety switch, that allows the door to stay open until the wipers are in the full "park" position. I don't have a lot of info, or experience(or wiring diagrams!) with the early cars, so that's about all I can offer.

Did the door open & close properly before you changed the wiper switch?Adams' Apple38887.8363657407
