I live in vegas so this does not apply to me, however it is a good solid piece of writing.

I agree - this was very helpful - particularly the last page which really summed up a few of the most important questions!

Thanks! |thumb|

Vette(s): 1974 T-top 454/400 auto w/delux interior, power windows, white w/black int.,American Racing mags w/Goodyear tires. previously owned... 1969 convertible - 427/390 auto w/hardtop 1965 coupe - 327/300 4 spd
Some really good points...however, I feel you put extra stress on the frame/body if the car is put on jack stands for an extended period of time. I prefer to just leave it on the wheels. Maybe over-inflating the tires is a good trick. Haven't thought of that.
Thanks Dave.

As the article said, seems like these days the new tires don't succumb to the flat spot problems - at least the ones I have don't. I usually put my 76 away from Thanksgiving until mid-April. After 5 months of not moving I never experienced flat spotting. Didn't even do the "over inflate" trick. The car is parked indoors and covered, but that's about it.
