[QUOTE=Jaws79]The guy that just painted my car recommends against them. There is not only the chafing of the paint but also that if moisture gets under the bra it will stain your paint. I won't use them.

That's ed-zachary why I'll never put mine back on. I've got a new one, and put it on ONE time, for the Caravan to the 5th NCM anny. On top of the huge rub spot right in the center of the hood at the front, it also caused the paint to "blush", even tho the paint was, at that time, 2 years old. I'll never put it back on, until the paint on the front is just too screwed up to care anymore.
Just my .002
I've also got a "mini" bra for the '85 that I will use on road trips, but the paint on that car isn't all that hot to start with, so I'm not taking a chance of screwing it up.

Don't think I'd use a man-ziere on the Lukester - But the clear film is an interesting idea to replace the bra.

LMAO Luke...the Man-ziere is often refered to by Cosmo Kramer as a Bro......

Yes, you need to let the paint cure before wax. Usually 3 months is enough but that depends on the paint used.
I have seen way too much damage from bras. Yes with double sided tape etc it can be kept to a minimum if you take the bra off frequently to avoid moisture problems.
And the clear coating seems to work very well from what I have read, etc, but I have not ever actually used it or seen it in use, just on display.

Sorry Barry! You have to click the link! I haven't used this product but the concept seems like a good idea for that long haul!

Y'all gota get out and wax the cars... My 01 has never not been Bra less since I brought it home. The paint is just fine under it but then I remove the bra frequently to check on the paint and as Young Master Ebo said coat it wit me fav-o-rite wax. Course I like Terry's i-dear best fer them long hauls.

I've owned Bra's for a Jeep, Yoter Camry, Hun-die Snotta, C4, and 3 diff-runt styles fer me C5.
I like an have had no ill effects from em...

I was thinking of getting a mini for my Vette, to hide all the stone chips I have on the front.
Do they come in RED?
