Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses. 2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
I like to think that my car is pretty clean, but when I look at the interior, I can see the 34 years of dirt and dust in the texture crevices of the interior - dash, seat backs, door panels etc...

What do you guys use on your interiors to make them "pop" and look like new?  I have not done much with the interior.  I know most people stay away from the "shine" kind of Armor All.  Are there any products or tools that really get in there to clean things up?

Thanks!!

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

I like "Tuff Stuff" and a soft brush.  Really works well.

Another good one is Armoral, general purpose cleaner and a soft brush. You need to cover the seats and carpet though. Made mine look new again.

I stopped using "Armorall" or any product with silicone in it quite some time ago.  If you can find it, try a product called "303"  it puts a great shine on vynal and plastic without the deteriorating effects of silicone.  It is not cheap but I think performs much better than armorall.  If you cant find it at your auto suppliers, and you probably wont, try the local RV supply house, its really big in the RV industry

Vette(s): 74 coupe 4 speed 350, 54K actual miles, all original; paint, interior, engine, split bumper. #'s match. 2nd owner, no stress cracks.
I use old/new toothbrushes, armoral and armoral cloths.
Interesting idea on the 303.  I would like to try.  No RV places near me.
I looked on ebay, but not luck.  Anybody got any idea on mail order?

I also use Griot's interior cleaner and it works good. If it comes clean use there leather care that brings out a nice shine.  Also use there Best of show wax that puts a deep shine in the paint. GREAT PRODUCTSThumbs%20Up

If the interior is past the cleaning stage I used a interior paint dye that works great and looks like new when done. I got it from Corvette Central.

Good Luck

My wife got me ArmorAll Cleaning Wipes (25 7"x 8" wipes) for all auto surfaces, dash, vinyl, carpet, consoles, & leather. They work pretty darn good. She also got me the ArmorAll Leather Wipes (20 7" x 8" wipes) that clean, condition, & protect. These really worked pretty good on my old leather seats, they came out clean and shine, they do seem a little softer. Best of all they are not oily and no greased up look or feel. ArmorAll has all kinds of Wipes available, Original Protectant, Ultra Shine Protectant, Orange Cleaning, & Glass. With these wipes there is no spraying stuff that can get all over.Big%20smile

I agree...Griot's makes some of the best car care products you can buy.  Not that there aren't other fine products on the market, but Griot's is among the best and a one stop shop for most every type of product.

Their Carnauba Stick Wax and Best of Show Wax are awesome!
