Try an orbital, you won't be sorry.
Liquid wax has very little carnuba, I've tried quite a few wax's, some were very good, the trick is to properly prep the body. One of the easiest to use, and best shine I've gotten is a wax called Carbon for dark colors by Zymol. It goes for around $40, but well worth it. You can use it by hand, it's real easy to put on and off.

There are two or three Zaino dealers in our local area.  They are at the Corvette shops, either mechanics or Speed Shop type places.

Zaino is all that has been on mine since the new paint job.  The painter did the initial work, along with 3 coats of the stuff before he gave me the car.

All I have to do is "wax on, wax off" and use the spray finisher.  She looks like liquid glass after.  His test is to be able to read the face of his watch from at least 2 feet away, anywhere on the car.

Worst case, they deliver it to your door if you order on-line and you don't have to go out looking for it.
