The PowerBall made a slight dent in the cruddy old wheels after about 4 hours work and a sore back. I finally broke down and had the wheels professionally polished for $75.00/ each. Best spent $300.00 ever!!!

Never Dull is the same type stuff. It has a compound impregnated into a wadding cloth. It is most commonly utilized for aluminium in marine applications. My father brought me back some from Florida several years ago and I have utilized the stuff with good results ever since. on new aluminium such as mirrors) it will shine it up like chrome.
If the wheels are in really bad shape I think ya are gonna hafta utilize the steps Dave (Autom8tr) indicated 1st as previously indcated. Likewise if ya have clearcoat on them that will hafta be stripped away.

I've used the rags and waxing pads with aluminum polish but it takes a LOT of elbow grease.  I found that the Powerball Mini is great for polishing my wheels and takes a lot of work out of the process.  I use Mothers aluminum polish and it gives a nice bright non-mirror finish which was exactly what I was looking for.  For turning the Mini, I use a corded drill, my cordless one just didnt have the UMMPH to do the job.

Zoop seal will do the job and it will last several yrs.Yes Years. You can find it in motorcycle shops or on line. It's kinda $$$ but it does last so I guess in the end it balances out price wise.

I wonder if Zoop Seal will protect my wheels from dogpiss???? My Jack Russell LOVES my wheels and would mark his spot there daily if I did not have barriers beside them!!

The guy who polished my wheels gave me a bottle of "Busch" super shine aluminum polish and claims he uses it and it is the best protectant for polished aluminum...

Dave

My GAWD!!! With a dane you gotta worry about more than just the wheels....

I can't even take Bandit to an outdoor car show with me. He has a "thing" for nice wheels......
