So what I am finding is there are times this summer when I leave the top down while its parked for a few days. I put a towel in the widow before I fold er down as to not blemish the plastic, (any more than it is).

But I have to wonder, is it bad to leave the top folded in the car for days? Or even over night?
Any feed back would be interesting.

And how bout someone sitting on the panel that folds over the top? We had er in a parade and someone sat there. Kind of drove me crazy but it seemed like it worked out.

Any exp with that?

Newbies, dang newbies......lol

Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses. 2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
I leave the top down almost all of the time.  I considered buying one of those pillows that goes in to protect the window but was told it was a waste of money.  I've never had any issues with the window.

I've wondered the same thing about that back "hatch."  I'm with Larry - if it doesn't crack, it's ok, but ya gotta wonder, what weight will crack it?Shocked

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

SOLD - "Betty" - '28 Ford Model A Tudor
Sold - "BLKBRRD" - '78 Pontiac Trans Am
"BLUBYU" - '04 Coupe
I leave the top down on "The Toy" most of the time during the summer also.  I have a large towel that I roll up and place it in the fold of the window just for some piece of mind.  I do occasionally put the top up and latch it at the window and let the back dangle with the deck up.  But when in storage during the winter months it is fully connected so it gets stretched out again. What is funny in my area is when you see the top down, windows up and the heat is on full blast cause it is only 50 degrees out.Rolling%20On%20The%20Floor%20Laughing

I usually keep the top down all the time, and I too keep a towel in the fold.  Never have had any problems.

Just don't put the top down while it's wet and leave it.  It could get moldy.
