Picked up some chips last summer and thinking of touching them up as spring rolls around. Any recommendations on brand? I have a red 1980 (original paint).

I believe that the big 'E' outfit sells touch up paint to match year and color on the Corvettes..Not a bad price..
You'll enter the paint color-year of your car when ordering.
IF you use it, use a good small camel hair artist's paintbrush rather than the cap-brush affair that comes with touch up paint.Clean area with mild soap & water and dry well..
Work in good light..at temps above 70F and under 100F and with humidity lower than 70%.
..A bit of warmth from a mild heat source will help..or simply let it air dry IF ambient is proper.
IF you have a lady friend-wife or daughter who has a keen eye and steady hand..have them apply the paint while you supervise..:)..and as my Grandfather used to say..

Oddly enough, if you tear a match out of a book of matches the torn end makes a good touch up brush. Mostly used for chips and small scratches.

I haven't seen a book of matches in 8-10 years...
