Is there a product out there that can remove water spot & scratches without buffing? I used Eagle 1 Spray Nanowax and it works pretty darn good to hide small scratches, swirl marks, and brought out the deep shine, but did not take out all the water spots.

Well this will be a very opinionated topic...
I uese a Meguires Clay Bar 1st and then Meguires Gold polish. (although the last time I put on Zaino and really liked it)
The clay bar will lift out all of the impurities in the paint and definately will remove the water spots. Another trick I use is never wax or buff in a circular motion. Back and forth, back and forth, nose to tail. Same way with the wipe down or the shammy, Never a swirl mark to be seen.

Nothing will remove water spots, stains, and scratches without buffing. You may be able to hide them with a glaze or "swirl remover", but to remove them you need to use a good polish and some elbow grease.
Water spots can be tricky to remove, depending on what caused the etching and how long they've been there.
As Tux says, even when washing back to front or front to back, I do not have and marks after her paint job 2 years ago..

OK Vinegar? Mixed or straight up? I know my wife uses vinegar to clean out the coffee maker. Does it cut through water spots?

I like vinegar & water mixture along with newspaper to clean glass with. Somehow I don't think I could bring myself to put it on my clearcoat though.
A good clay bar treatment will remove the waterspots. Scratches will need to be buffed then polished. I'm old school so everything is done by hand for me. I know it doesn't have to be that way but I enjoy the bonding with the blacray and the results!.

How about water spots just on glass? I've tried everything I know and can't get them off.
I know the voices aren't real, but they have some pretty cool ideas...
