Just bought a 1970. The previous owner waxed it and never cleaned the leftover wax out of the crevises, like inside the cowl vents inside light lens. I have tried a tooth brush and even soaked parts overnite in warm soapy water with no success. How can I get this white chaulky stuff off?

Zaino bros.com reccommends using Dawn dishwashing soap to remove wax buildup on cars. I would think you would still have to use a toothbrush or mesh dishwashing cloth to remove the thick spots. It must be some buildup since a hard rubbing usually makes the build up disappear, you might have to use oooo steel wool with lots of suds carefully not to take off paint too. Good luck nice car you bought though, congrats on that |cheers|
