I don't know what freeze 12 is, but many subtitutes are butane, proprane, and other explosives. They can be very dangerous. Many states including Ohio have outlawed them due to the dangers. Check carefully before using any of these.

I believe all the above posts have some great info, but they may have drifted away from your problem regarding the fan control problem. Check the resistor assembly (located in the air duct near the blower motor) you can get to that from the engine compartment. If your resistor unit checks out and you are reasonably sure the problem is not wiring, then go ahead and order a replacement fan switch from just about any of the aftermarket suppliers.

A side note: Your 75 was not originally equipped with a valve in the heater hose line when it left the factory, although some people install aftermarket ones.

Just to re-inforce what bill0830 said.I thought my A/C was cactus, but upon checking the 30A in-line fuse which controls the High fan speed I was relieved to find that it was blown.Replacing this fuse seems to double the air flow,so this is the easiest, quickest and cheapest of all my problems to fix so far

I'm so glad to help.I know from my experience and after buying a hi-speed relay, then finding a 30 cent fuse blown made me think that hopefully someday I would be able to let others know and help save the time and money in investigating a A/C problem. Sometimes we overlook the obvious. The best investment I ever made was a diagram.

Bill.
