Vette(s): 1960 (got wiped out in the Rapid City flood of 72), 1968 roadster(sold it so I could buy the 71), 1971 Coupe Chromed almost everything underneath. Had it since "76"
Hey guys,I need help again. Does anyone know what size the fitting for  the hose going to the A/C Refrige control valve is? It's the one that is on the valve down on the right side of the car by the side vent on the right side and comes off the back of the compressor to the valve.  wench size to take it off is 1 1/4 sae. it's down there where the heater hose shut off valve is. It takes a o-ring fitting but I need to know what size it is #12 or higher ?I need to make a new hose as I have a pin hole in the one I gotCry

If it's not painted, Chrome it!!!

Vette(s): 1972 Coupe Anything, but Stock and more mods to come! SSBC Force 10 Brakes, 3.73, TH350, 355 CID, Rack and Pinion, Vette Brakes suspension front and rear.
I believe it is a number 12.  Look on your old hose.  There should be a size.  From there any a/c repair shop can make them up.  Might be best if you just take it in and have them duplicate the old hose or just buy a replacement from one of the corvette resto houses.

Vette(s): 1965-327 coupe, 1968-small block coupe, 1969-427, 1971-454 coupe and currently a 1976-ZZ4 coupe reborn again,and hotter than ever.. Add a 1996 CE LT-4 for backup

I just replaced mine on a 1976 350 and the size is #8 small F-O-Fitting and the large is a #10 F-O-Fitting. You can gett them most anywhere.

Good luck
