Two things that bug me about my 79' c3 is the ac and fan blower. There is hardly any air coming out with the fan on high. Is this typical and if so has anyone upgraded the fan motor?
The ac never worked properly and only lasted about 6 months after I had it professionally re-charged. Is there an upgrade here also?
Thanks for any help.

I've read where people have used the C4 fan motor which has increased volume capability but also requires a spacer between the fan and the firewall. If they recharged your system with R134a, then that would explain some of the lack of cooling because the system was not designed for it. Another possibility would be some type of clogging in the expansion valve system. Assuming the system is charged with R12 and the operating pressures are correct, I would suspect something of this nature.
