How can you tell if you need to replace the AC Pressure Cycling Switch?

if the switch is cutting the compressor out, and you have plenty of freon,, then it may be a bad switch,, you will have a low cut out switch,,if the pressure is too low it should cut the compressor out,,only does this if freon is low,,rd
