As posted in handling, I had a wonderful trip via the Northeast States, but while driving I did smell anti-freeze three times during the entire trip.  I did check the reserves and it was fine and when the Vette was cool I did check the rad and it was fine as well.  Just wondering if I'm looking at a future problem or it's nothing.  The engine and rad are both brand new with just about now hitting 1200 miles on them.  Looking for answers, thanks.

I suspect the heater core is just starting to seep.  That will do what you describe.    Watch for antifreeze from the heater ducts, or a bit of steam on the windsheild with the defroster on.

Vette(s): White '79 Corvette. It's a driver.
If it is your Heater Core, a temporary fix could be to drain it and install shutoff valves on your Heater Hoses.
At least it'd keep you going down the road until you can take on replacing it.
Good luck with this!

Good news, it wasn't my heater core going bad, my heater control valve was touching the exhaust and burnt a hole in it and was leaking.  Will be changing that today and hope all goes wellphew
